In addition to believing that there has to be a better way to attempt Agile and DevOps, we also believe there are a lot of good ideas from individuals that are simply being ignored or unknown to the Agile and DevOps communities. We are creating an ADAPT Model community where anyone who has a good idea, tool, process, blog or training technique can contribute to the ADAPT Model and be recognized. Any ADAPT community members who wish to, can contribute work to the ADAPT Model in order to help others in their Agile and DevOps Transformation.
All that we ask is that the contribution either fits into the ADAPT Model or if you can clearly show us where the ADAPT Model needs improvement or is missing a critical area we will gladly consider refining the ADAPT Model. Of course, there will most likely be the question of, hey I’ve created this great tool or process I would really like to be compensated by anyone who uses it. We have detailed information about advertising products, tools or processes here. Our basic philosophy in the ADAPT Model community is that we will allow community members to add linkbacks to work that they wish to charge for but understand that we ask all community members to first contribute some open source work to the community before you start asking to advertise any tools or processes you wish to charge others for.
